A Statement From SEIU Healthcare

SEIU Healthcare condemns all forms of racism, hate and violence. We stand in support with all Black, Indigenous and racialized peoples who are feeling pain, fear, anger, and trauma due to the recent blatant acts of racism and racially-motivated police violence in the United States.

As one of the most diverse unions in Canada, we know racism is a serious problem in our country as well. SEIU Healthcare remains committed in our efforts to ensure inclusiveness, diversity and racial justice through many initiatives and actions, including our Social Justice Capacity Building Program.

To our more than 60,000 members, join us in unity as we challenge systemic racism and refuse to allow any of our differences to divide us. Together, we can build a more equitable province, country and world.
